  2. There is a bug that can occurr with PKARC 3.5 when using some 
  3. versions of MS-DOS 2.xx.  This bug is only present with DOS version 
  4. 2.  All versions of DOS 3.xx work normally.

  6. Under DOS 2, if the current directory is the root directory of a 
  7. drive, and a large file is archived, PKARC will abort with the 
  8. error "Can't create ./$PKARC.CRN".
  9.  
  10. This problem can be simply eliminated by using the PKARCTMP 
  11. environment string to explicitly tell PKARC what drive/and or 
  12. subdirectory to use for temporary files.  To use the current drive, 
  13. enter:

  15. SET PKARCTMP=/
  16.  
  17. at the DOS command line.  See the file PKARC.DOC for more 
  18. information on the PKARCTMP environment variable.
